More news!

My baby has grown up! Monday was her first day of kindergarten, I cannot believe how fast time flew by. Krew of course wanted to go to school too so we were both in tears as we left the building, obviously for different reasons! I have to think of it this way....at least it is only half a day, I think I can live with that. Maybe.
In other news Krew got his first Mohawk, I love it and others probably think I am insane but you only have so much time to give your son a Mohawk and get away with it.

We also found out last week that we will be having another son, how exciting, more climbing, jumping, and knocking out teeth! We have a few ideas as far as names go but we are willing to take some suggestions so if you have any feel free to give your say!

Lastly, I have to say that I am very proud of my brother Brad, just having received a scholarship from his fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Utah! Way to go Brad!!!!!!

So here I am once again apologizing for my lack of being able to post a current blog, though this time I feel I have a good excuse. As most everyone already knows I am about 4 and a half months pregnant and we are expecting a new little one the end of December or beginning of January. I am hoping for the latter, one less thing to plan around the holidays. Anyway, those who know me, know how sick I get while pregnant so while it seemed as though I fell off the face of the earth for a bit, I was really on the couch for 2 months.
I am doing better and craving things like Tropical Punch Kool-aid, yellow apples with salt on them and nachos from 7-11, it seems like everything is going smoothly!

In other news I am happy to announce that Olivia tried out for and made the Tiny Tot competition dance team! Congrats Olivia, we couldn't be prouder!

I will post other news and pics later as it is time for Krew's nap and he is having a meltdown at this very moment!

Birthday's .....Round 2!

I guess I can look at this 2 ways..... #1- With Olivia being born on May 17th and Krew being born on May 22nd we get the birthdays over with quickly.
#2- THEY ARE TOO CLOSE TOGETHER!

We do a party for both with my Dad, then with Levi's family then my Moms family and then Olivia has a friend party....what is going to happen when Krew realizes he is getting the shaft and wants a friend party too????
Here are some pictures of the party with Levi's family....very cute! 3 down and 1 to go!

Wow, how time flies.........

5 years ago my little baby girl was born, unknown to us she had a very severe birth defect. The doctors had no idea and it was a very scary time for us.
Her diaphragm was not fully formed and her lower organs grew up inside her chest, of course you have no clue that things like this even exist until you learn about them and trust me when I say the Internet is not always the best way to get your information. When she was 8 days old she had surgery at Primary Children's Hospital, where of course I lived for the next few months! I was fortunate that we lived close and I could go everyday, all day. Then I would pick up Levi at 6 or so and we would stay until 11 or 12.
The reason I am blogging about this was because yesterday we had Olivia's 5th birthday party and honestly when she was born I thought I would never see the day!
Today she is a healthy 5 year old and besides a small scar on her abdomen, you would never know of her difficult start in life.
I am so so grateful to have her, she has blessed my life in so many ways. She is a great daughter and when she wants to be, a wonderful big sister as well. ;)
She has been registered for kindergarten, and I know this transition will be harder for me than for her! I don't know what I will do without her for 3 hours out of my day! Call me a sap if you want but when you are a stay at home mom and all you do is spend every second with your kiddos, this is a big deal! To me anyway!
And now I will share the fun pictures of Olivia's 5th birthday at Kangaroo Zoo!

Unsuccesful Blogger

Well it has been established by more than one person, (this includes myself) that I am officially one of the worst bloggers ever! I am sure not THE worst but one of them at least!
I have to give credit to those who can blog faithfully, especially when you have 2 children that do not give you 2 seconds to do anything alone, in fact the only reason I am able to write this blog now, is because I turned on Kung-Fu Panda....yes my children are watching T.V.! And just to let you all know, I do this when I need to clean, do laundry, organize bills, take a shower or even just breathe. So Kudos to those who manage their time wisely and manage to fit blogging in as well!
So recent exciting events include Olivia getting ready for kindergarten (more on that later) The millions of birthday's that occur in May! (Happy Birthday to....Dad, Jamison, Olivia, Krew......) and Happy Mothers day to all of our wonderful mothers.
Also My Step-Brother Jacob will be graduating high school next week and my Brother Brad will graduate on June 5th. Congrats!!!!!! And I got to see WICKED, which was amazing! I am so happy I was able to go!
Oh ya, I also stopped drinking soda, and to be honest, it wasn't so hard. No headaches or anything. I mainly did it to just prove Levi wrong....he didn't think I could really do it, and we are now going on 3 weeks. Let me say this, Blueberry Pomegranate and Black Cherry Propel water is great! Water I actually like drinking and I am NOT a water drinker! ;)
I am sure there are many other things that I cannot recall at this time, maybe that's why I should be better and blog more often!
I know I have promised before (promises, promises) but I will try to do better!!!!!!

Memories...

Awhile back I was posting some older pictures and I found this one of my Grandma and myself. It's so funny to think back on what was going on in my life. I was 15 and my grandma was 57. It was Christmas and because I was the oldest grandchild I had to sit on her lap too! I am so grateful that I have this picture and those wonderful memories. When she got sick I thought my life would be over if anything happened to her, now that we are going through the process and now that she is finished with the Chemo, it's a little easier to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I love her so very much!
A couple of weeks ago, I took some pictures of Olivia and Krew with her as well and they turned out very cute and a little silly.
